Faribault County Central Services is accepting applications for a full-time, non-union position as Human Resources Director.

Responsibilities and Qualifications Include: This position develops, implements and administers all County personnel functions and programs including recruitment, selection, orientation, discipline and termination, salary administration, employee relations, benefit administration, and participates in labor relations and collective bargaining process in Faribault County.  Directs and coordinates workflow of Central Services office.  Other responsibilities include taking independent action to formulate programs, policies, special assignments and initiatives based on Faribault County needs; providing the Board with recommendations as needed/appropriate.

Requires a BA/BS in Public Administration, Business, Personnel Administration, Human Resources, or related area and at least five (5) year’s previous experience in Human Resources management or public administration; or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties. SHRM certification or equivalent strongly preferred.

This position is a full-time, exempt position. Wage range is (D62) $37.31 - $51.94 per hour and starting wage will be based upon qualifications.
