Park Rules

  1. Gates will be locked at midnight.
  2. Faribault County does not allow kegs on the premises.
  3. No glass beverage containers allowed on the beach or playgrounds.
  4. Quiet hours are midnight to 8:00 a.m.
  5. Pets are permitted. Pet owners must show proper consideration for other campers and comply with park regulations. Animals must not be left unattended at the site, vehicle, or camping unit. A leash, not to exceed 6’, is required when walking a pet. You are required to clean up animal feces in proper trash receptacles. Pets are NOT permitted on swimming beaches.
  6. Picnicking is permitted only in designated picnic areas. No person, or group of persons, shall exclude others from a picnic area.
  7. Camping is permitted only in designated camping areas within the prescribed limitations of the particular camping area.
  8. All campers must register. At least one member of your camping party must be at least 21 years old.
  9. Whoever does any of the following shall be subject to immediate removal from the park, guilty of a misdemeanor, or both:
    1. Engage in a violent, immoral, abrasive, loud, or obscene manner or any other conduct that creates or tends to create a breach of peace, disturb, or annoy the recreational enjoyment of the park, land, and waters by other members of the public.
    2. Use or have in your possession glass bottle beverage containers. Also, you will be immediately removed from the park if you are found to be intoxicated, in possession of or under the influence of drugs. This is a violation of Federal/State Law. 
    3. Trash bags are to be placed in the centralized dumpsters. There is no trash pick up on site.  
    4. Operate or park any motor vehicle outside of the designated roads or parking areas.
    5. Operate any vehicle in a reckless manner or at a speed in excess of the posted speed limit.
    6. Advertise, in any manner, any private activity or function without the consent of the Parks Manager.
    7. Display or possess a firearm or air gun, unless unloaded and cased.
    8. Hunt or molest wildlife.
  10. Any person who violates Rules 2-9, inclusive, will be asked to conform to those rules or immediately leave the park. If the said person refuses to conform to the rules or immediately leave the park, they shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
